KOMODO DRAGON : AN INDONESIAN PREHISTORIC HERITAGE
The National Costume is created as a collaboration between Fashion Designer Diana M Putri from Diana Couture & Accessories Designers Yuling Hoo and Silvy Prajogo of Le Ciel Design. Yuling Hoo & Silvy Prajogo of Le Ciel Design chose 3 different kinds of metals that is combined into 1, these three colors are rustic gold, copper/bronze, and black gold to create an ombré effect on the gown. The scales are created from hammering and stamping. The gown consists of over 5000 unique scales to create the most opulent yet realistic approach to the costume. However, the most intricate process was the mechatronic aspect, where the handmade Komodo headpiece relates to a robotic system combining motor, sensory & a microcontroller. The light up choker and gloves are created with a LED controller.

“The Legend of Dewi Rengganis”
Legenda Dewi Rengganis, sebuah legenda yang menceritakan tentang Dewi Rengganis, puteri Raja Brawijaya yang merupakan salah satu raja dari Kerajaan Majapahit. Menurut kepercayaan warga, Dewi Rengganis ini mempunyai wajah yang rupawan. Kecantikannya yang luar biasa membuat pangeran dan raja-raja di tanah Jawa ingin mempersuntingnya. Dewi Rengganis dipercaya sebagai penguasa di wilayah Argopuro, bahkan juga di Raung.

Dipilihnya tema Dewi Rengganis karena Jolene Marie pernah mendaki Gunung Argopuro, gunung yang memiliki trek pendakian terpanjang di Indonesia dan Jolene berhasil mencapai ketiga puncak yang ada di gunung Argopuro yaitu Argopuro, Hyang, dan Rengganis. Puncak Rengganis adalah puncak tertinggi di Gunung Argopuro dan pada puncak inilah ditemukan situs kolam, taman sari, dan puing-puing pura.
